Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a 16-year old American who was from Miami Florida. She is half English and half Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. The father of her was Argentine and has Scottish and English ancestry. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor Joy is the youngest of four siblings. One of them is from each of her parents' prior marriages. The family lived within Buenos Aires until she was six years old, and then moved to the Victoria region of London. Taylor-Joy explained she was traumatic, and refused to study English as she wanted to be able to return to Argentina. She had to switch schools from Northlands to Hill House. Then she attended Queen's Gate School in London and took ballet classes and participated in drama productions. At the age of 16, Taylor-Joy dropped out to focus her full-time acting profession. Taylor-Joy has always known she wanted to work as an actor. The opportunity was offered to her chance by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management, who offered her a job as a model.
