Alison Krauss has been a country artist for more than 30 years. Her birthplace was in Decatur, Illinois on the 23rd of July, 1971. LeAnne Kymes was one of the two the youngest Grammy Award recipients. Alison Maria Krauss, born 23rd July 1971, is an American singer and musician. Alison Maria Krauss started her music career as a child she was winning competitions in her local area at the age of 10. She recorded for the first album at fourteen. She signed with Rounder Records in 1985 and made her debut solo album in 1987. She was a part of the group which she continues to perform, Alison Krauss Union Station. The group released their debut album in 1989.
