Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson hails from the United States and is an actress, producer and writer, singer/director. She is most well-known for playing Tara Maclay from the TV Series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson also directed her films Chance, Lovers Liars & Lunatics and was the lead actress in them. Also, she starred in Kiss the Bride. Benson was born on the 8th of January, 1977 Birmingham Alabama, daughter of Diane Benson and Edward Benson psychiatrist. Danielle is her elder sister who is also an artist. Benson went to a Reform Jewish synagogue when she was growing in her teens. Her mother, who was Southern Baptist and raised Jewish by her father is also Jewish.
