Lisa Edelstein was an American actor who gained notoriety as the star of Fox's House medical show. After being raised by Jewish conservatives in Wayne, New York City was the place she went to pursue her studies in acting at Tisch. She became very involved with the club scene in New York City and made enough noise to be noticed by the media. At the same time she began to become aware of AIDS' devastating effects. Then, she combined her fame and talent with her writing and composing skills to create a show called Positive Me. In the following months, she got the job of MTV as host of Awake to the Wild Side. Once the program was over it was time to do film and television productions. She started with smaller roles, and then became established in the process of becoming an actress.
