tatyana aliTatyana Marisol Ali (born January 24 1979) is an American singer and actress best recognized for her performance as Ashley Banks on the NBC sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air from 1990 until 1996. Tyana Jones was the character she played in her TV One series Love That Girl! role, and she also starred in the recurring role Roxanne on the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless. When she was just six years old, Ali began her acting career by appearing regularly on the PBS children's education program Sesame Street. Her appearances included a show with the jazz legend Herbie Hancock. Hancock demonstrated the Fairlight CMI synthesizer by using Ali's voice. Star Search also featured her in two episodes.
